In case of a fire, call Aledo Fire Protection District immediately. If it's a small fire, you can try to put it out with a fire extinguisher. However, if the fire is spreading quickly or you are unable to put it out, evacuate the building immediately and wait for the fire department to arrive.
The most common causes of fires are cooking accidents, heating appliances, electrical malfunction, smoking, and candles.
If you're trapped in a burning building, try to stay as low to the ground as possible to avoid smoke inhalation. If possible, cover your mouth and nose with a damp cloth or clothing. Call Aledo Fire Protection District to let them know where you are, and wait for them to rescue you.
